Each film coated tablet contains:
Leflunomide IP 10/20 mg
Leflunomide belongs to the class of drugs i.e disease modifying anti-rheumatoid drugs. It has immune suppressive properties and is the inhibitor of the pyrimidine synthesis.

Treats rheumatoid arthritis
Mechanism of Action
Leflunomide is a prodrug which is firstly converted to its active metabolite. It inhibits the auto –immune T- cell proliferation, production of auto antibodies by the B cells, decreases the dNA and rNA synthesis.

It is absorbed by oral route of administration
Protein binding:
It is 99.3% bound to plasma proteins
Metabolism:
It is metabolized in the liver to its active metabolite
Excretion:
It is excreted via urine
